Plan your independent assessment.
Discuss your assessment scope, readiness and timing with SOS. Start with a discovery call.
What happens next?
- Discovery. Confirm your customer requirement, system boundary and target date. Use public information for this first conversation.
- Eligibility and impartiality. SOS reviews potential conflicts and the engagement scope before accepting assessment work. Readiness consulting and independent assessment are separate services.
- Assessment planning. Agree on evidence access, interviews, testing, participants and the schedule.
- Assessment and review. Assess the agreed scope and review findings under the applicable process. The result depends on demonstrated implementation; no outcome is guaranteed.
Independent assessment or readiness help?
If controls or evidence still need work, start with readiness planning. An independent assessment evaluates implementation; it does not replace remediation.
